Dr. Fatma Soysuren Clinic
Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the official website of Dr. Fatma Soysüren Clinic. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of this website, our online consultation request forms, communication channels, informational content, and any services or arrangements offered through or in connection with the Clinic.

By accessing this website, submitting a consultation request, contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone, email, social media, or any online form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this website or submit any personal or medical information through it.

1. About Dr. Fatma Soysüren Clinic

Dr. Fatma Soysüren Clinic is a doctor-led medical clinic providing medical consultation, surgical and non-surgical aesthetic services, and patient coordination for local and international patients. The Clinic is not a general travel agency and does not present itself as a medical tourism intermediary organization unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Medical services are provided by Dr. Fatma Soysüren and/or authorised healthcare professionals within the scope of their professional qualifications, clinical judgment, applicable Turkish healthcare legislation, and the standards of medical ethics. Any treatment, surgery, or medical procedure is subject to individual medical evaluation, clinical suitability, informed consent, and availability.

The Clinic may assist international patients with supportive coordination such as appointment planning, communication, translation support, accommodation recommendations, transfer coordination, or other patient support services. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such non-medical services may be provided by independent third-party suppliers and are separate from the medical act itself.

2. Purpose of This Website

The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is intended to help visitors understand the Clinic, the doctor’s areas of practice, available treatment categories, the international patient journey, and how to request a consultation.

The website content must not be interpreted as a personal medical diagnosis, treatment recommendation, prescription, medical guarantee, or substitute for a face-to-face medical examination by a qualified physician. Information about procedures, recovery, risks, techniques, expected results, or patient experiences is general in nature and may not apply to your individual medical condition.

3. No Medical Advice and No Emergency Service

Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a physician-patient relationship. A physician-patient relationship is established only after the Clinic confirms your case, obtains the necessary medical information, conducts the required medical evaluation, and accepts you as a patient for consultation or treatment.

This website, WhatsApp line, social media accounts, email address, and online forms must not be used for emergencies or urgent medical conditions. If you believe that you have a medical emergency, severe pain, breathing difficulty, bleeding, infection, sudden deterioration, or any urgent health concern, you must immediately contact local emergency services or attend the nearest emergency department.

4. Eligibility and Age Requirement

This website and the services described on it are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. If you are under 18, you may use this website or request information only with the involvement and consent of your parent or legal guardian.

For surgical or non-surgical aesthetic procedures, the Clinic reserves the right to request identity documents, parental or guardian consent where legally required, medical records, psychological or medical suitability assessment, and any additional documentation considered necessary for patient safety and legal compliance.

5. Consultation Requests

You may request an initial consultation or information through the website forms, WhatsApp, email, telephone, social media, or other communication channels provided by the Clinic. Submitting a consultation request does not mean that you have been accepted for treatment, that your procedure has been confirmed, or that a final treatment plan has been created.

Any preliminary opinion, estimated treatment plan, package information, or price indication provided remotely is based on the information, photographs, videos, test results, medical history, and statements you submit. Such preliminary assessments may change after an in-person examination, additional tests, anaesthesia evaluation, imaging, or doctor review.

The Clinic reserves the right to decline, postpone, modify, or cancel a consultation or treatment if the requested procedure is considered clinically unsuitable, unsafe, unrealistic, legally inappropriate, ethically problematic, or outside the Clinic’s scope of practice.

6. Medical Evaluation, Treatment Plan and Informed Consent

All surgical and non-surgical procedures require appropriate medical evaluation. Before any procedure is performed, the patient must receive relevant information regarding the nature of the procedure, expected benefits, possible risks, alternatives, limitations, recovery process, aftercare requirements, and possible complications.

No medical procedure will be performed without the patient’s informed consent, except where permitted or required by applicable law in emergency or exceptional circumstances. The consent process may include written consent forms, medical questionnaires, clinical discussions, photographs, laboratory tests, imaging, anaesthesia evaluation, and other patient safety steps.

The final decision regarding whether a treatment can be performed belongs to the treating physician and authorised medical team. Payment, travel to Turkey, hotel reservation, or previous remote communication does not create an obligation for the Clinic to perform a procedure that is not medically appropriate.

7. Individual Results and No Guarantee of Outcome

Medical and aesthetic outcomes vary from person to person. Results may depend on anatomy, tissue quality, skin structure, age, genetics, previous surgeries, medical conditions, medications, smoking, alcohol use, wound healing capacity, lifestyle, compliance with aftercare instructions, and other individual factors.

The Clinic does not guarantee a specific aesthetic result, recovery time, complication-free outcome, symmetry, scar quality, revision-free result, or patient satisfaction level. Any statement on the website about techniques, comfort, healing, swelling, bruising, or recovery is general information and must not be understood as a promise or guarantee for every patient.

Refunds are not applicable based on dissatisfaction with initial estimates.

8. Before-and-After Images, Testimonials and Patient Stories

Before-and-after images, testimonials, videos, reviews, and patient stories are shared for informational and illustrative purposes only, where appropriate consent has been obtained. They represent individual patient experiences and individual clinical outcomes.

Such materials do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar result. Every patient is different, and your outcome may vary. You must not copy, download, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, or use any patient image, testimonial, video, or clinical content from this website without prior written permission from the Clinic.

9. International Patient Packages and Third-Party Services

For international patients, the Clinic may offer or coordinate package-style arrangements that can include medical consultation, treatment planning, surgery or procedure scheduling, translation support, transfer coordination, hotel suggestions, post-treatment follow-up, and other patient support services.

Unless expressly confirmed in writing, hotels, transportation companies, tourism providers, translators, insurance providers, laboratories, imaging centres, pharmacies, hospitals, anaesthesia teams, and other third-party suppliers operate independently from the Clinic. The Clinic is not responsible for delays, cancellations, service quality, personal injury, loss, theft, additional charges, force majeure events, or disputes arising from third-party services, except to the extent required by applicable law.

If an intermediary service is legally required for certain international health tourism support activities, such service must be provided in accordance with the applicable Turkish health tourism regulations and, where necessary, through authorised service providers.

10. Prices, Offers and Package Inclusions

Prices, package details, inclusions, exclusions, estimated costs, and promotional offers may vary depending on the patient’s individual condition, the procedure, the complexity of treatment, doctor evaluation, hospital requirements, anaesthesia needs, laboratory or imaging tests, length of stay, revision history, exchange rates, third-party supplier prices, and availability.

Any price or package information provided remotely is preliminary. The final price may change after physical examination, medical tests, or doctor evaluation. If additional procedures, tests, medications, garments, hospital stay, revision needs, or treatments are required, these may be charged separately unless expressly included in the written package.

The Clinic aims to communicate package inclusions transparently. However, patients are responsible for carefully reviewing what is included and excluded before making any payment or travel arrangement.

11. Deposits, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

The Clinic may request a deposit to reserve a consultation, surgery date, operating room, medical team, accommodation, transfer, or other arrangements. The amount, due date, payment method, and refundability of any deposit will be communicated separately in the written offer or booking confirmation.

Deposits may be used to secure medical scheduling and third-party arrangements. Deposits are non-refundable. Payments made to hotels, transfer companies, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, insurance companies, or other third-party suppliers may be subject to the cancellation and refund policies of those suppliers.

If a patient cancels, postpones, arrives late, fails to attend, provides incomplete or inaccurate medical information, is found medically unsuitable, or chooses not to proceed after travelling, the deposit will not be refunded, and the patient will be responsible for any expenses incurred and will be incurred.

If the treating physician decides that a planned procedure should not be performed for patient safety reasons, the Clinic will evaluate the situation fairly. However, the patient remains responsible for hospital, travel, accommodation, visa, personal expenses, and third-party costs.

Satisfaction cannot be guaranteed in aesthetic surgeries. Also refunds are not applicable based on dissatisfaction with initial estimates.

Patient-Initiated Cancellation : If the patient cancels;

  • Before travel → Deposits are non-refundable.

  • After arrival → Costs already incurred (hotel, transfers, clinical preparation, hospital services, preoperative tests and consultations etc) are non-refundable.

No-Show Policy : Failure to attend scheduled appointments without notice may result in loss of deposit and additional rescheduling costs.

Exceptional Cases ; We aim to be fair and understanding. In exceptional situations (like medical emergencies), refund, reschedule or credit decisions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

12. Travel Documents, Visa, Insurance and Fitness to Travel

International patients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, travel permissions, residence documents, and any other documents required to enter Turkey and return to their home country. The Clinic is not responsible for visa refusal, border entry refusal, flight cancellation, travel delay, missed appointments, or additional costs caused by travel documentation issues.

Patients are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance and, where available, medical complication insurance or health insurance covering treatment abroad, travel disruption, extended accommodation, flight changes, emergency care, and unforeseen complications. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the patient.

Patients must also ensure that they are medically fit to travel before and after treatment. Flying too soon after surgery or ignoring medical travel advice may increase health risks and may negatively affect recovery.

13. Patient Responsibilities

Patients must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about their medical history, previous surgeries, allergies, medications, chronic diseases, pregnancy status, smoking and alcohol use, mental health history, previous aesthetic procedures, laboratory results, and any other relevant health information.

Patients must follow pre-operative and post-operative instructions, attend required appointments, take medications as prescribed, avoid restricted activities, maintain hygiene recommendations, and contact the Clinic if unusual symptoms occur. Failure to follow medical instructions may affect the quality of the result, increase complication risk, and limit the Clinic’s ability to provide appropriate aftercare.

Patients must treat the doctor, clinical team, coordinators, translators, drivers, hotel staff, and all third-party providers respectfully. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, or inappropriate behaviour may result in refusal or termination of services, subject to applicable law and patient safety obligations.

14. Aftercare and Follow-Up

Aftercare is an important part of the treatment process. The Clinic may provide post-treatment instructions, follow-up appointments, online check-ins, photo review, wound care guidance, medication guidance, and recovery recommendations depending on the procedure and patient need.

The patient is responsible for attending follow-up appointments and contacting the Clinic promptly if there are signs of infection, bleeding, severe pain, wound opening, breathing difficulty, fever, asymmetry concerns, medication reactions, or any other unexpected symptom. If the patient has returned to another city or country, the patient may also need to seek immediate local medical care.

Online aftercare communication does not replace physical examination when a clinical examination is necessary. If the Clinic advises the patient to attend an emergency department, visit a local doctor, undergo tests, or return for examination, the patient must act promptly.

15. Revision Procedures and Complications

All medical procedures carry risks, including but not limited to infection, bleeding, swelling, bruising, scarring, asymmetry, delayed healing, anaesthesia-related risks, dissatisfaction with aesthetic outcome, need for medication, need for additional treatment, or revision surgery.

A revision procedure may sometimes be medically or aesthetically considered after the healing period is complete. The need for revision does not automatically mean medical error or malpractice. Any revision request will be evaluated individually by the physician, considering medical necessity, healing time, patient safety, expectations, and clinical feasibility.

Costs related to revision procedures, hospital use, anaesthesia, tests, medication, accommodation, flights, transfers, or third-party services must be clarified in writing before any revision arrangement. Unless expressly agreed in writing, such costs are not automatically included in the original package.

16. Privacy, Personal Data and Medical Records

The Clinic may collect and process personal data and health data that you voluntarily submit through the website, WhatsApp, email, phone, social media, consultation forms, medical questionnaires, photographs, videos, laboratory results, medical records, and in-person consultations.

Such data may be used for consultation, appointment planning, medical evaluation, treatment, patient follow-up, legal compliance, billing, health tourism reporting where applicable, patient safety, quality improvement, and communication purposes. Health data is sensitive personal data and will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including Turkish personal data protection rules.

By submitting information to the Clinic, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you understand it may be reviewed by the authorised medical and coordination team. For detailed information, please refer to the Clinic’s Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.

17. Communication Consent

By contacting the Clinic or submitting a form, you consent to being contacted by the Clinic through telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, email, social media message, or similar communication channels for purposes related to your inquiry, consultation, appointment, treatment plan, package, aftercare, patient support, and service follow-up.

Marketing communications, if any, should be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements. You may request that the Clinic stop sending non-essential promotional communications, although the Clinic may still need to contact you regarding medical care, appointments, payment, legal obligations, or patient safety.

18. Website Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use this website only for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its functionality, attempt unauthorised access, submit false information, upload harmful content, copy content without permission, scrape data, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

22. Force Majeure

The Clinic shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, inability to perform, or additional costs caused by events outside its reasonable control. Such events may include natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, war, terrorism, civil unrest, airport closures, government restrictions, visa or border issues, flight cancellations, power outages, internet failures, supplier failures, hospital capacity issues, or other unforeseeable circumstances.

Where possible, the Clinic will make reasonable efforts to assist with rescheduling or alternative arrangements, but additional costs may apply.
