Will there be scars after rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty surgeries are performed using two methods: closed and open techniques. The choice of technique is determined by your doctor based on the problems present in the nose. The most important feature of surgeries performed with the closed technique is that the incisions are made inside the nose and there is no incision on the skin. In surgeries performed with the open technique, an external incision is made. Since this incision is located under the nose and is closed using aesthetic suturing techniques, it does not create an uncomfortable appearance. In the first weeks, it may appear as slight redness, and over time it may turn into a thin and faint line.
